Join us for our special Opening night event. Featuring a private reception with Actor, Elimu Nelson, at Shaker Square Cinema starting at 6:00pm followed by the viewing of, "Elza" at 7:30pm. We will have a post reception after our opening film at Zanzibar Soul Fusion.

Actor Elimu Nelson will host master classes Friday, April 19
th at 10:30am and Saturday, April 20th at 10:30 am. Camera Ready: Acting Master Class with Elimu Nelson is perfect for those ready to be in front of the camera. Aspiring actors will have the opportunity to see themselves on camera as well as learn how to prepare for auditions, learn new techniques, and gain new perspectives on how to take natural acting ability and experience to the next level.
This FREE class is not for beginners and you must apply to participate. The deadline to apply is Friday, April 12th. If you are selected to participate, you will be notified via email by Monday, April 15th.

"The Greater Cleveland Urban Film Festival is setting out to change that by exposing, educating and entertaining the diverse audiences of Greater Cleveland through innovative and groundbreaking films that depict the African-American experience in a positive light. The festival showcases black films that reinforce positive images, dispel negative stereotypes, and provide a forum for their work to be viewed and discussed.
