We have been informed that Mrs. Annie Burks was horribly short-changed yet again in terms of the settlement Maple Heights government (specifically the mayor, and all but 2 members of Maple Heights council) decided to give her/other recipents (which was what appears highway robbery, and taking from the poor to give to those more fortunate who are non residents).
Ms. Burks and Mrs. Hendrix (African American senior citizens) have spoken the loudest (for many years) regarding the travesty surrounding the damage caused to their homes and others by the railroad/and spoken the loudest regarding being given the runaround by Maple Heights government officials/public employees.
Did Maple Heights spend thousands of dollars on a Fourth of July fireworks while those poor senior African American women who lived near the railroad were given the shaft?
Time for Charles Crews Jr. to step down. No help to those seniors by the railroad. Plus, he was appointed by members of council (not voted in), voted to only give 20% of the monies meant for the African Americans (by the railroad) in his district, and is wholefully inexperienced in dealing w the Apartheid government in Maple Heights.
The law director and others have overstepped and over reached. While they think their watching us, someone higher up is definitely watching them.
That little act of harrassment by public employees over the summer was recorded.
