CONGRESSIONAL BLACK CAUCUS SET TO BOOST TURNOUT AT THE POLLS

SPEED CAMERAS are part of Maple Heights fiscal watch financial recovery plan. Note the heavy reliance on levies and speed cameras for revenue and the small amount allotted for economic development. Big bump in law department though. WONDER WHY? And where does a lot of this money go when dumped into the general fund? To a lot of non resident govt workers, a lot of gov't workers (who don't reflect in any significant way) the racial demographics of the city, and to a lot of businesses not in Maple Heights IN OTHER WORDS, MONEY CONTINUES TO CIRCULATE OUTSIDE MAPLE HEIGHTS WHICH DOES LITTLE TO STIMULATE THE LOCAL ECONOMY. THESE POLITICIANS NEVER LEARN, AND WE KEEP VOTING FOR THEM!!

WHEN YOU VOTE, KEEP IN MIND WHERE YOUR MONEY REALLY GOES AND IF IT STIMULATES THE LOCAL ECONOMY.

What is not addressed BY THESE POLITICIANS: an almost 10% unemployment rate in Maple Heights; loss of home ownership; lack of (and a focus on) real economic development in the city of Maple Heights; the problems of racial and gender diversity in the safety forces; a desired expansion of paid (resident) auxiliaryneighborhood police; missing local business and resident business ownership; lack of an independent, enforcement-empowered, citizen review board; an inclusion of black culture and black history in city-wide events, transparency problems in Maple Heights government; the disenfranchisement of residents/voters/taxpayers on key issues
