What's more interesting, our tax payer dollars (about 50 million from property taxes spread over 20or so odd years) built the 5 new schools.

Yet Keenan has the nerve to deny the tax payers information that could help Maple Hts residents (???)

How many Black teachers does Maple Hts schools employ?

Someone is probably going to point out that the new "state of the art" [?]schools help in teaching our children. When the hell did brick and mortar help teach children?

Anyway, all these new schools but Maple Hts children are still fairing poorly?

Anonymous in the above comment said "And they wonder why Maple Heights residents are screwed. Everybody but them are making out like fat rats while the ship sinks."

Maple Hts ship has been sinking for years. loss in opulation, loss of home owners, loss of jobs, declining city services even though taxes are high (?)

Didn't Lansky campaign on no new taxes but support an income tax hike?

If I was a resident in Maple Hts, I'd be packing that church to see how they were ripped off by politicians in Maple Hts (?).

Yep, Maple Hts politicians pointing elsewhere and taking no responsibility for the crisis Maple Hts is in.

Excellent meeting. Great presentation, great questions and some good comments (although some of the commenters seemed to be Lansky supporter plants).

One guy had no clue about Maple Hts school children. He raved about the 5 new schools; however, unfortunately he didn't know the not so good report card that Maple Hts schools had received. Maybe he was a plant too.

Another woman wanted folks to pass a (Maple Hts income tax) levy in November even though there's no recovery plan in sight. Was she also a plant?

There was also a woman who mistakenly thought railroad money was still being collected by the city.

A pat on the back to the gentleman who wanted to wake folks up to the fact that a large number of Maple Hts gov't employees don't live in Maple Hts. What this means is money from tax payers go to people who offer no economic benefit to the city.
