I watched the last council meeting (esp. video part 2 and 3) and two things concerned me.

1. A bunch of folks on council and at that council table had negative things to say about some residents, and people who are trying to make a positive difference in Maple Heights.

2. People should not be berated because they come to council and don't speak. They should be encouraged to attend council meetings, not just to speak, but hopefully to learn (to gather information).

Let me say this:
You always know you are on the right side of things when people [who have done nothing truly significant but take your money and give it to someone else for their (the someone else) benefit and not yours], start saying bad things about you.

Things are coming to a head folks. All is being exposed for everyone to see.

Thank God people feel safe here (on the Maple Heights African American Gazette) where they can be anonymous and vent, or share information, or whatever, without fear of retribution which is something real and scary in Maple Hts.

And for those people who did not get what the lady said about "we pay your salary", she meant we are your boss, you are not the boss of us. Duh ... Get it!!!
